Ocean Camp (Grades 2-5)
What is Ocean Camp?
This unique offering encourages campers to learn about the ocean and Maui’s natural environment while developing useful skills and making new friends. Each session centers around a specific ocean-related theme and includes hands-on science lessons, team-building games, expressive crafts and daily field trips with local partners, including weekly 3-hour private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures vessels. Each weekly session accommodates a maximum of 20 campers.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8am–4pm
Drop-off and pick-up take place outside PWF’s Discovery Center Classrooms located in Maui Harbor Shops at Ma’alaea Harbor.
Pricing
$500/week
Price includes instruction and activities, daily field trips with local partners, including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures vessels.
Session Information
Eat or Be Eaten, October 7-11:
Over this session of Ocean Camp, we will get lost in the world of ocean predators. Be prepared to feast on new knowledge about the coolest predators to roam the great open blue. From anglerfish and sperm whales of the deep to the well-known killer whales and great white sharks, we will learn about how predators keep our ocean healthy and how we as humans can work to keep them safe. Get ready to dive in with these amazing creatures for a week of games, learning, and adventuring together.
