Aimee Paquin brings decades of Silicon Valley engineering and investment experience to her role on the Pacific Whale Foundation board of directors.

Beginning her career as an engineer at MIPS Computer Systems Inc, Aimee transitioned to Silicon Graphics where she joined the engineering services group and eventually built and led a team of 80 professionals. She later founded the engineering services group at Geocast, demonstrating her ability to scale technical organizations from the ground up.

After taking time to raise four children, Aimee returned to the tech industry as a founder of a seed-stage venture capital fund in Silicon Valley, where she applied her engineering background and operational expertise to identify and support early-stage technology companies.

Now retired, Aimee channels her passion for conservation and her business acumen into supporting the Pacific Whale Foundation’s mission to protect ocean ecosystems and marine life through research, education, and conservation efforts.
