Kanoe George
Education Specialist
Kanoe grew up in Kaimukī on the island of Oʻahu. She began working with PacWhale Eco-Adventures in November 2024 and transitioned to the Education Department as an Education Specialist in May 2026.
Inspired by her culture and Kānaka Maoli community, Kanoe felt called to the social work profession. In May 2026, she earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at UHM.
Kanoe is passionate about serving her community and hopes to do so through the Education Department’s initiatives and programs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
