Student Storytellers: UNC-Chapel Hill Partnership
This spring, Pacific Whale Foundation welcomed a team of journalism students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to Maui, where they spent time in the field producing a series of short documentary stories capturing island life, conservation work, and the people behind it. Ocean Guardians
This 20-minute PWF film created by Selket Kaufman documents the journey of humpback whales as they migrate between Alaska and Hawai‘i and the efforts of the Pacific Whale Foundation to save them from extinction.
