What is Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive?

Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive offers an advanced look at the ocean ecosystem for students entering grade 6-8. The program provides a dynamic learning experience that encourages participants’ growth as environmental stewards by building connections amongst each other, our community, and our shared planet. The learning and fun will extend beyond the classroom through daily nature-based field trips including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures vessels. Each weekly session accommodates a maximum of 20 participants.

Schedule

July 20-24 | 8am–4pm

Program Information: Ola I Ka Wai: Follow the journey of water from mauka to makai. Join us to discover how streams, reefs, and everything in between are connected and important to the history of Hawaiʻi. Campers will explore how life depends on clean water and how we can protect this natural resource. 

Drop-off and pick-up take place outside PWF’s discovery Center Classrooms located in Maui Harbor Shops at Maʻalaea Harbor.

Pricing

We will be using a 4-tier payment system where adults can pay the full program cost to a reduced cost to applying for a full scholarship. Please keep in mind Tier 3 pricing and scholarships are only available to Maui County residents. Mahalo!
